TEAMability Learning Center
TEAMability moved into a renovated new facility February, 2008. The building is located on the northwest corner of IH 10 and Culebra. Being very close to the heart of San Antonio, the TEAMability Learning Center is accessible for all of Bexar County and the surrounding area. TEAMability provides a unique service in San Antonio, specializing in serving those families who have children with severe, combined disabilities. The services now available include center-based activities and opportunities. Our scope of service will expand to include Recreational/Leisure activities for the child and his/her family, suspended whole body movement programs, a wide array of customized learning environments, and communication-enhancing designs and settings. Our transdisciplinary, whole-child approach offered in the new state-of-the-art facility, opens doors to new skills and an enhanced quality of life for children with severe, combined disabilities.

Other services that are provided to the community at the TLC include a bi-monthly parent group meeting. The Parent Forum meets every other month to discuss family and parent needs and concerns regarding a family member with severe, combined disabilities. The meetings include dinner. TEAMability also presents workshops at the TLC for area professionals and parents on a variety of topics that are listed on this website.
