Barbara GoldmanBarbara Goldman, M.A. earned degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Syracuse University and Teachers College, Columbia University. Certified in teaching students with severe and profound disabilities and students with visual impairments, Barbara has taught in N.Y., Maryland, and Texas. Barbara has wide-ranging experience and training with students with severe multiple disabilities, including assessment, use of communication systems, assistive technology, and educational program development and implementation. She is a skilled facilitator of the transdisciplinary team model.

Mari GarzaMari Garza, OTR is a bilingual San Antonian. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University. Mari has experience in a variety of therapeutic settings including acute and outpatient clinics, early childhood intervention programs, private therapy, and the public school system. With a strong background in sensory integration, she has created numerous specialized "sensory diets" for the treatment of sensory processing disorders seen especially in the severe and profoundly disabled student population.

Nancy SwansonNancy Swanson, PT graduated from UT Austin with a BA degree in Economics and Social Welfare Studies. She also holds a BS degree in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University. Since the 1970's, Nancy has lived in San Antonio and worked in a variety of settings including acute care, home health, outpatient orthopedic, and private practice. Since 1992, she has practiced PT exclusively in the educational setting. Nancy has extensive experience in classroom positioning for optimizing function and in assessing wheelchair seating and mobility needs. She has been instrumental in developing a program for self initiated mobility for students with multiple disabilities using power wheelchairs.
 
Nancy ShwartzNancy Schwartz,B.S. earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Her experiences include: Activity Director for a home for children with combined disabilities in Missouri, Preschool Teacher Trainer in Belize, Central America while serving in the Peace Corps, Special Education teacher for Harlandale and Northdside ISD in San Antonio, and Coordinator of Early Intervention Program for C.A.M.P. on Lackland AFB.
 
Eddie De La CruzEddie De La Cruz, PT Assistant graduated from St. Phillips College in 1994 with an Associate's in Applied Science, and has lived in San Antonio since 1987. Eddie has experience with a variety of specialties including geriatrics, neurologic impairments, orthopedics, and pediatrics. Since 2006, his focus has been in pediatrics in varying settings. Eddie has extensive experience working with seating and positioning, and establishes excellent patient-therapist rapport. He is committed to using his strengths on a transdisciplinary team.
 
Wanda BrownWanda Brown, OTR is a bilingual native of San Antonio. She received her BS in Occupational Therapy from Dominica College in Orangeburg, New York. Immediately after graduation, Wanda worked in hospital adult rehabilitation. Her experience in Pediatrics began in the schools and has extended over the years to include general inpatient and outpatient rehab, autism rehab (including Applied Behavior Analysis), home health, and Early Childhood Education. Wanda has specialized training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment and is certified in Sensory Integration.
