Hailey Ferguson is an estate planning and probate attorney with over five years of dedicated legal experience in this practice area. She strives when helping families protect what matters most. Known for her compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail, she guides clients through some of life’s most significant transitions—from crafting thoughtful estate plans to navigating the complexities of probate with clarity and confidence. Her practice has focused on educating her clients on the probate process, trust planning, and Special Needs Planning.
In addition to her legal practice, Hailey proudly serves as the newly elected Chairman of TEAMability, a nonprofit organization that finds ability in disability. TEAMability provides specialized speech, occupational, and physical therapy for young children and young adults with complex and multiple disabilities. The organization’s mission resonates deeply with Hailey, aligning with one of her core personal values – dignity. She believes that every individual deserves to be seen, respected, and empowered—principles she champions both in her professional life and through her nonprofit leadership.
Outside the office, Hailey is a devoted wife and mother of three, balancing a vibrant family life with her passion for travel and fast cars. Whether exploring new destinations or enjoying the thrill of the open road, she embraces life with energy and curiosity.

Rod Pullen

Rod Pullen brings more than 35 years of engineering, operations, and commercial leadership to his role as an Executive Director in Valero Energy’s Supply and Trading Department. A first‑generation college graduate, Rod earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and has called Texas home ever since.
Rod’s connection to TEAMability is deeply personal. His youngest son participates in TEAMability’s services, and he has additional family members with Down syndrome—giving him a meaningful understanding of the importance of inclusive, specialized support.
Raised in a Midwestern agriculture family business, Rod carries forward a strong work ethic and a commitment to community. He and his wife have been married for 28 years and have three adult children. Outside of work, Rod enjoys golf, hiking, traveling, home DIY projects, and proudly caring for multiple grand‑dogs while eagerly awaiting human grandkids.

Tim Plant

Retired Nonprofit Executive
Tim Plant brings diverse human services leadership, board service and consultative skills in service to the TEAMability mission. Plant has served as CEO of several pioneering non-profit organizations over the past 35 years and currently draws from this rich experience to serve the TEAMability Board as Secretary and executive committee member. He has previously served on the boards of Rise Recovery and Youth Code Jam as well as Goodwill Easter Seals of Minnesota.
Plant is also a retired Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is a Minnesota native who previously moved his family to Fort Worth and south Florida during his 20-year career with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. He completed his undergraduate work in Psychology/Sociology in Minnesota and later a master’s in social work from the University of Chicago and an MBA in health services management from the University of Dallas. Tim is a Class XVI graduate of San Antonio Master’s Leadership Program, which prepares seasoned executives for non-profit Board service
Tim and his wife of 51 years, Peggy Sundermeyer, returned to Texas as their primary residence in 2014. They also spend summers at their rustic lake cabin at Balsam Lake, WI, near Minneapolis-St. Paul. Tim and Peggy are blessed with four adult children and ten grandchildren. Tim is a passionate advocate for special needs children and adults.

Keshawn joined TEAMability’s board in 2023. He has almost a decade of experience in the banking industry with roles to include Commercial Banking, Product Management, Accounting, and Finance. He is also an entrepreneur and owns a local pet waste removal company. He is excited to serve on TEAMability’s board and support their mission.

Barbara Goldman, MA

Barbara Goldman created a collaborative approach to improving the lives of individuals with complex disabilities in the San Antonio area. A chance encounter with a blind student in eighth grade led Goldman to study special education at Syracuse University and Columbia University, focusing on educating those with visual impairments. After years of experience in schools bringing special education experts together to see ability first, Goldman founded TEAMability in 2003 to extend this team approach to providing services to families across San Antonio. As the therapy anchor for Morgan’s Multi-Assistance Center, TEAMability encompasses Goldman’s vision of developing each client’s unique abilities through Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy paired with expertise in Cortical Visual Impairment and Assistive Technology.

Carlos A. Martinez, Jr.

Carlos A. Martinez, Jr. is Executive Vice President at the International Bank of Commerce, where he has led San Antonio operations since 1986, guiding the region’s growth from $5 million to over $1.5 billion in assets. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a licensed CPA, Carlos previously served as an Audit Senior at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., managing major SEC‑regulated engagements.
A dedicated community leader, he has held roles with Via Metropolitan Transit Authority, the San Antonio Zoological Society, Northeast Rotary Club, Junior Achievement of South Texas, and the Notre Dame Club of San Antonio. Fluent in Spanish and deeply rooted in the San Antonio community, Carlos brings financial expertise, steady leadership, and a genuine commitment to service. Carlos joined TEAMability’s board in 2025.
